The Story
920 Detail is a solo mobile detailing operation based in Ripon, WI. When you book a job, there's no crew, no temp help, no "somebody else will take care of it." It's me — start to finish, every time.
I started 920 Detail because I was frustrated with the gap between what most shops call a "detail" and what a vehicle actually needs. A detail isn't a glorified car wash. It's a process — proper decontamination, correct products, the right amount of time. Most places don't give vehicles that time. I do.
I pursued Opti-Coat Pro certification because I wanted to offer real ceramic protection, not just tell customers I could do it. That certification required training, testing, and authorization from Optimum Polymer Technologies. I'm one of the only certified applicators in this part of Wisconsin.
The mobile setup isn't a corner-cutting move — it's a deliberate choice. It keeps overhead low, which keeps prices honest, and it means I come to you instead of you rearranging your day to come to me.

Pricing is listed. Quotes are given before work starts. If something comes up mid-job that affects cost, you hear about it immediately — not on the invoice.
